#531 - 1959 Ford F-100 Pickup

$0.00

VIN: F10J9R39819

Odometer: 86689

Engine: I6

Trans.: 3-spd Manual (on tree)

Overall:
Here is a third-generation F-100 "Styleside" pickup. The “Styleside” blended the lines of the fender, cab, and bed together. This is a 1/2-ton truck with a voluminous "Custom Cab."

Engine/Trans:
According to the VIN, this truck was originally equipped with a 430ci V8 engine. That has been replaced with a far more economical inline-6 engine with 223ci displacement. The engine runs great, and the three-on-the-tree transmission moves the truck around with ease.

Exterior:
It's a truck... There is nothing spectacular here, but it is almost all straight, making it a fantastic candidate for restoration. The left rear tail-light panel has a slight dent, but it is an easy repair. The bed has a spray-in coating that is still in decent condition.

Interior:
The interior appears to be original, and all the pieces are in place except for the headliner, but there are a few spare parts to finish putting one of those in. The bench seat has been reupholstered and is as comfortable as in 1959. Just beware of the knee-busters as you enter the cab. Those who know...
