Engine 228 cu. In.

Transmission 4 Speed

This GMC truck has a flat bed with stake sides. It has been repainted and reworked several years ago and the paint is cracking and severely checking.

The truck is solid with the only rust bubbles notice being in the driver’s door at the bottom. There are signs of rust starting in the passenger door as well. The floors and fenders look solid.

We have not attempted to start the engine but it turns free. The vehicle was conserved in 2010. The transmission engages all gears though, since we have not driven it, I cannot verify operation.

The emergency brake does work but the hydraulic brakes do not. The master cylinder appears to be leaking but I have not pulled the wheels and drums off to inspect the cylinders. It does have a booster but I cannot verify whether it works or not.

The lights all work. I jumpered the wires at the brake light switch to verify they are working. It has add-on turn signals that do work. The front bumper has a dent just left of center and has been pushed in in the center. The grill has a dent in the center also.

The seat cover has been redone at some point and looks very nice. The dash looks like original paint and is decent. There is something black that has run down on the instrument cluster glass at the top. It does not obstruct the gauges.

I believe the bed is of later construction, probably 1990’s. It and the stake sides are in good condition.
