#515 - 1941 Ford Super Deluxe
VIN: 186406848
Odometer: 50383
Engine: Chevy SB 327ci V8
Trans.: 3-spd Manual (column)
This “pre-war” Super Deluxe 4-door sedan has been thoughtfully, and thoroughly, restored and modified. While the exterior paintwork needs an update, the recently completed interior is accessed through the old suicide door system and shows beautifully with meticulous detail. Under the hood lies a Chevy small-block 327 connected to the original 3-speed transmission and drivetrain. The engine was entirely rebuilt by R&J Auto Care, every seal was replaced, and an MSD ignition was installed. While the motor was out, a new clutch and pressure plate were also installed. The brakes were also serviced at this time with all new wheel cylinders, shoes, and pads. Runs and drives great with top freeway speed of 64 miles per hour. The electrical system has also been converted to 12-volts.
