*NO RESERVE* Lot #145 - 1956 Continental Mark II
Part of the Bob and Bill Montgomery estates, though this was Bill’s car it was always worked on by his brother Bob. Unfortunately, Bob just passed a few weeks ago. The brothers grew up in N. Seattle and have a love of Baymont Bay. The Montgomery’s are well known for their incredible car collection. This subject features the only option available at the time, which was air conditioning. It is in amazing condition. At the time of Mr. Montgomery’s passing he was doing some minor servicing to the car. We have only had it a few days and we have tried to reassemble what was off of it. This car is possibly the nicest example available anywhere. It is incredibly original and correct in every detail.
Produced for only two years by the Continental Division of Ford, the Continental Mark II is a luxury coupe that was built in 1956 and 1957. The Mark II was the first, and only, model from the “Continental” division.
This Mark II is in fabulous condition, with only minor tasks left for the new owner. A myriad of parts are included to help finish her up.
